I am a 26 year old female and have had terrible posture since I have been a kid. My back seems to be permanently curved at the shoulders and upper back and my head seems to go forward. When I try to stand up straight it actually hurts my back. Is there a way to get my back to straighten at this point? I hate my posture and it will only get worse as I age. What would help the shape of my back? Any suggestions would be helpful. Is there anything beyond exercises? Thanks
so posture huh? Well, I would think there is something that can be done to help relax your muscles so that you can correct your posture, but I am not sure. I think your best course of action would be to see your doctor and try some physical therapy. Traction might work, though I don't know. I wish you well though and hope you find something that works.
