Good morning!!! I have a ? for you all.I had my EMG on tuesday afternoon and last night I noticed that the numbness in my foot has spread.Not so much the intensity of the numbness but it seems like it is more past my ankle and over to the side more.I was just wondering if that is normal after that test because of them stimulating the nerves and muscles or would that have nothing to do with the test at all? Just wondering if I need to call the Dr. or if it's nothing to worry about.Thank you.............Robin

I personally dont think It would have anything to do with the nerves and muscles being stimulated.....If it were me I would call my doctor, just for the piece of mind, incase it could be something else... better safe then sorry, I always say... good luck...

I doubt this is an effect of the EMG, I agree call the dr, as said better safe then sorrry,

Hi Robin, I had EMG on Tues and did not experience anything like you said.
Wouldnt hurt to call.
