Just got injections!

I wanted to thank everyone that responded to all of my posts about the injections. I got them done today. I am a little sore and know that I will be really sore tomorrow. I was really nervous, but the sedated me. It helped a lot to not know what was happening. I know that I would have caused more problems if I was awake because I jumped when he just gave me a shot of lidocane, which I was still not sedated yet. I am glad that I got it, although I do not know if they worked yet. At least I tried. The doctor told me today that if it does not help too much, he will do the next injection slightly different. I do not regret this at all.

Re: Just got injections!

Yeah, steroids can hurt for a couple days. Even though they don't last as long as I'd like, at least I got relief for 3-4 weeks. I focused on getting them in the winter, since the cold really messed me up!

I think I posted to your previous, but if I didn't I hope you're doing better soon!

Re: Just got injections!

Hi Girl

Glad to hear you tried the ESI and yes, they can cause significant soreness a couple days afterward but, IF they work = well worth the discomfort!

So glad to hear you had sedation with it that makes a BIG difference!!

Take it easy a day or so and rest up -

keep us posted

BW
