i was told by my mom that she had a damaged nerve removed in the groin area if this is so that they can remove damaged nerves can they remove peoples damaged nerves in there back just curious

Hi there
They can burn the nerves, they usually grow back in about 18 months, but they do not actually remove them.
Nerve ablation or rhizotomy is how they temporarily burn the nerves.
