Hi rachel

I have not seen you post in a while. How are you doing?
I am scheduled for my SCS on Monday the 28th.

I am also scheduled for my cervical fusion on June 1.

I think I will be totally bionic by the end of this year but hopefully things may get better. I know that if the trial works I can not do the perm. one til summer and after my fusion, so that gives me a few more very painful months. I am so sick of all this and even then there are no promises. I am only having one level fused and doc said that eventually the one above will have to be fused but for now we will just do that one. I guess he thinks I have been through enough.
I feel so old. How will I feel when I really am old

firstly let me say how glad i am that u are getting your trial (cant wait to hear about how it goes), and that u have a date for the fusion...
Now for me.............................Im up the ****** , i cant seem to get any relief at all and the drs keep changing meds and saying that that is all they can do ( different if it was them or thier family)
Im not sure where to turn to next it has been so bad lately that i dont even get dressed in the morning. I havnt been on here for days.....
But thats enough sooking

for now .
i am really happy for you and i know you realise that the road ahead is rough .

I am sorry to hear that things are not good with you.

I wish there was something I could do to make you feel better

Have they changed your meds again? I am sure you are sick of that. I guess there are no new revelations for you? I say we go light some fire

under your doc and tell him it is time to get a real treatment plan

Please post back and know I am here even if you just need to vent.
