iamrc Newbie (female) Join Date: Mar 2005 Posts: 1	MRI results I just received a copy of my MRI, and wanted to know if anyone could explain what is cord signal? the report states Large herniated pulposus C5-6 on the left with cord compression and cord signal alteration. I know that pulposus is a herniated disc, I presume that it is oressing on the spine, producing spinal cord compression, but what is cord signal. thanks for any info Judi
