Arrow Chiropractors work MIRACLES

I've had back problems for a long time. I believe I have what they call a subluxation. I desperately need a chiropractor but do not have health insurance. I live in the Pittsburgh, PA area. Is there any way to see one that have low costs?

Re: Chiropractors work MIRACLES

I don't know what you consider low cost, but most charge alot up front, but the follow-ups are pretty cheap. Mine charged $135.00 first time. The follow-up visits are $35.00. When I was in Maui I found one that charged a flat rate of $25.00. A lot of insurance compainies won't cover or only cover a small portion. I would call around and see who charges the least. Choose carefully. everytime I have wen't to see a Chiro, it has not been good. Not saying they are all bad, just saying be careful and check-up on them.

Good Luck

Re: Chiropractors work MIRACLES

You can see an Osteopath, a MD that specializes in the spine, for the same amount as the initial cost of the visit to the Chiropractor. Call around your area for a physician with a DO and see if they do spines. Some so, some don't.
