Hi Everyone!!! Just wanted to let yall know that I have an appointment with another spine specialist on Thursday at 9 am. I have been traveling about 65 miles one way for a spine specialist and my sister found me one about 20 miles from me. That will make a huge difference since I have such a hard time riding for more than a few minutes at a time. I am hoping that he has something positive to say and will contradict what the other doctor said. I am going to insist on other test if I am not happy with what he says. Someone asked me before if my insurance requires a referrel.....the answer is Yes. But my GP was not happy with what the first surgeon said and was all for me getting a second opinion. We just had a hard time finding someone. I couldn't understand why such a fuss about not wanting to see me because I had 2 previous surgeries....People have to change doctors all the time. Just so happens that the surgeon that did my first 2 surgeries does not take my new insurance. I am hoping that this new doctor will at least look past the MRI and order a mylegram or something. Also they need to check out all the numbness. I also want to know more about the hemangioma. I just hope that this doctor spends enough time with me so that I can ask questions. I have a ton of them.
What is the neural foramen????? Anyone???? and what is thecal sac??? I should know all of this stuff, but I don't.
I hope everyone has a pain free night!!! Good Luck!!! Keep Smiling!!!
Tammy
