Thumbs up A suggestion for back pain sufferers

I had a fusion of my L5/S1 in November and have been having difficulty sleeping at night because of the pain. The worst was trying to get comfortable and rolling over. I have found something that really helps. I bought a pillow top for my matteress and have been a lot more comfortable. The pillow top is about 3-5 inches thick and full of feathers. It forms to my body and I feel like I am sleeping on a cloud. I tell you what, it has really made a difference. I can get comfortable a lot easier and I don't feel as stiff when I get up. The amount of pain during the day has been decreased too. I was just so happy with my find that I wanted to share my experience. Hope it helps others.

Re: A suggestion for back pain sufferers

Hello
Something else that is very good that has only been on the market for a short time is the memory foam. I bought a mattress three years ago and it had the memory foam built on top of it. The mattress was a Simmons calista it was a little pricey but it has been the best money I have spent. Now you can buy the memory foam separate and put it on your mattress. The memory foam contours to your body and it feels great. Well got to go! I hope everyone has a blessed evening!

Re: A suggestion for back pain sufferers

I have the memory foam mattress on one bed and pillow top on another bed. They are both great. Even with that, I end up in the recliner about 4 nights a week. When I first got the memory foam mattress, I actually slept on it for about 2 weeks without getting in the recliner. I also bought a contour pillow that helps keep my body aligned when I am on my side. Amazing how much we will spend to make our lives a little more comfortable. If I could sleep just one night for 8 hours straight, I'd definately feel like a million dollars.

Good Luck!!! Keep Smiling!!!
Tammy
