| another question/one week post op
Yesterday I posted about my son's recovery from his 2 level lumbar fushion. He was doing great (IMO) until this morning. Originally (right out of surgery) he had some mild numbness in his right calf from knee to foot but nothing that really bothered him. Today, he is really in pain in that area. No one can even touch that area because it's so painful. His left leg, the reason he had the surgery, is fine. What could be causing this? I hope you all don't mind my questions, but I'm new at this and know you have so much experience.

Hi, he is probably doing too much too soon, but to be on the safe side he should call the doctor, and tell him what is going on.
