Osteophytes, Bone Spurs & Bony Tubercles

Is there any difference between them...My latest CTscan show I have bony tubercles at C7...before the surgery the term I heard most often was bone spurs or Osteophytes...
Are they a result of my non-fusion at c6/7? The other three levels of the ACDF are fused..
