Well I went for my 6 mos. check up for the 2 level 360 fusion. I had CT scans done last Monday and again on Wednesday. The front did fuse but the back did not for the second time. I have alot of bone fragment lying there, CT scan says with very sharp edges. I asked if this could be causing me additional pain, and dr. said "no, no, it's very doubtful". I was given two new meds. and still have to wear my brace and no P.T. The meds. are Nuerontin (agian) and Prevacid NapraPac 500. I took Nuerontin awhile ago, before Nov. surgery and it just made me bloated and it messed with my eye sight. I only agreed to take it again because my legs are really wiggin out and I want to rip them from my body. I must say after sleeping the first day of taking it, my legs do feel better. I did not start the other med. yet cause I wanted to see if the Nuerontin was actually going to help me. At the end of this week I will start the other on to see if it helps too. I am pretty upset that after two attempts my back still didn't fuse from behind. The front did, but the dr. doesn't want to challenge the strength of it just yet. The NapraPac is and anti-inflamitory and I know this is a no-no for Fusions so I am alittle leary of taking it. The dr. said he is still hoping for a fusion in the back, the BMP used is still so new that it could happen! Who the heck knows. I have had headaches the past three nights, so I hope it isn't the Nuerontin, I do feel like it has helped my legs some. Well, Good Health to you all.....God Bless!
