Tailbone pain is definately caused by L5-S1 disc protrusion

I have been having pain mostly in the tailbone area. I have been using ice directly on that area. It helps most of the time but sometimes it makes it worse. I have a disc protrusion in the lumbar region and was told to use ice on that area. It actually alleviates some of the pain by my tailbone to ice it way up higher where my disc damage is.
