| FYI...radiology reports
You all might have been told this one before but yesterday, I learned a very valuable lesson....ALWAYS GET A COPY OF THE RADIOLOGY REPORTS FOR YOURSELF WHEN YOU HAVE A DIAGNOSTIC TEST!!
I say this because back in Dec. '04, I had an MRI. On that report the radiologist noted something he was seeing that wasn't related to the reason I was there. When the doc got the report and relayed its' contents, he did not mention that little tidbit. Yesterday, I collected the reports from numerous tests and came home and read them. It was then that I found this notation. In a nutshell, had I not gotten those reports for myself, I would have never known! As an aside, it also helps to keep these reports with the films so that when you're going from doc to doc, you already have the report and don't have to wait on the hospital to fax it over again and again and again. Okay, enough said...just wanted to pass this along.
