I wore a CASH brace (pushed your chest up and back) for awhile to supposedly help my mild kyphosis and take the pressure off my thoracic disc. I did PT in conjunction with the brace, though it was mostly stomach, back and shoulder excercises that you can find on posture websites. It did help my posture for awhile, but since sitting up straight makes my back hurt more, I'm slipping into slouching. If time is not an option, you might want to wait until fall/winter, when it's easier to cover it up. Not the most comfortable thing at first, but I got used to it.
