Question Toes curling - anyone heard of this?

OK, I have a strange problem that every doctor I've ever seen acts like I'm crazy when I tell them about it. Even when I show it to them they don't have a real explanation.

I have 3 Degenerative Discs in my low back. The pain radiates down my left leg into my calf... My pointer toe on my left foot pulls over on top of my big toe. It doesn't do it unless I'm lying down or lying back in my recliner. It's been doing it for so long now that half the time I don't even know it's doing it until I glance at my foot and see it. Nothing seems to make it worse or better, it does it most of the time.

Just thought I'd ask and see if anyone has any ideas...
Thanks!

Yes claw toes can develop due to nerve damage in the lower back. All of the toes on my left foot are curling under. Actually the when the toe next to the big toe starts to curl over the big toe as it does on my foot it is because of osteoarthritis of the big toe joint.

you could try calcium and magnesium, a lack of either can cause muscle spasms in legs feet and toes. If it is a deficiency in calcium and magnesium you'll notice a difference in about a half hour to forty five minutes. Bell.
