Can LIPITOR cause back problems

A friend told me that taking LIPITOR caused him bad lower back and hip pain and even affected his legs; causing some numbness and weakness. I have heard this story from severall people who had taken LIPITOR and after quiting their back problems cleared up. Has this happened to anyone else?

Re: Can LIPITOR cause back problems

My mom was taken off Lipitor due to numbness, weakness, tingling and swelling of the legs and for back pain. It took a while for everything to go away but it finally did.
