pendulos Newbie (female) Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: Vancouver Posts: 2	Re: Surgery for fragment/sequestered disk - is it necessary? I just got my MRI results and it say There is a Sequestered fragment sorrounded by some scar adyacent to the sac at the level of pedicle of S1. I di not know what it means either.. but it sounds really bad to me. I had already to previous back surgeries.
