A Left Back Problem Also Affecting My Left Neck And Left Forehead?
Since mid - late 2002 I have had a health problem which has really frustrated me because I havn't been able to pinpoint exactly what it was or what was causing it.
Initially it began by feeling a bit tired and my vision even felt a little hazy so I thought it was allergies or an eye(s) problem, as I've been seeing my nose as "two shadowy separated halves since late 02" but those suspicions were not the case.
After having several eye check ups, allergy appointments and even a Cat Scan I realised that the area around my left forehead often feels strained and kinda 'tight' and this feeling often extends along the left side of my neck and the 'tight' or 'strained' feeling along the left side of my neck and left side of forehead often varies though is still a constant presence.
I've had discomfort and sometime pain along the left side *mainly upper i spose* of my back for the last couple of years though I never connected this as being apart of my health problem because I just thought it was symptomatic of bad health and bad posture and that was a different situation to what I was frustrated about but now that I've exhausted all other medical avenues I've concluded that this must all be connected:
- The 'strain' and 'tight' feeling I have on the left side of my neck and on my forehead on the left side of my face being connected to a strain/discomfort in the left side of my back.
- The strange perception of my nose as always seeing the 2 sides of it as separate and shadowy because of the strain felt on my forehead which I'm sure is causing that. To explain its like how u shut one eye and perceive just the one half of your nose and vice versa with the other eye though I constantly still though 2 halves as shadowy images because of what I believe to be this 'strain' and/or 'tightness' in my forehead above my left eye.
When I bend over or stretch or move about I can especially feel the strain in the left side of my back and feels more pronounced if I'm wearing encumbering clothes and the strain symptons on my neck and forehead feel more pronounced when I'm in a dark area with glaring artificial lights or in hectic crowded frenetic situations.
Considering I've tried eye specialists, allergy specialists, cat scans and all sort of avenues I thought I would post here before I ring a physio next week as I would really be interested to know what other people here on this board think. Since early 2003 I became quite stubborn and as a result depressed about this situation both because of the symptoms and because no one seemed to be able to help me or understand it; though thats possibly because it took me so long to realise to was connected to a feeling of discomfort in my back.
Thankyou for reading this and for any input.
