| Back Problem - Pain in Right Side - What is it?
My back pain is in right side - great if someone has some new ideas.
I have tried Osteopath, Chiropractor, Physio, Accupuncture, Bowen Technique, Massage, Back Surgeon, Pain Consultant and still no luck.
Here's the story:
3 years ago lay in bed a lot on the internet laptop.
Then had acute back pain very painful. That was ok after a few weeks.
Then few months later pain came back - not very painful but chronic.
Have had MRI and back is fine mechanically no disc problems etc
Have had steroid injection in back, facet joint injections and trigger point
injections but no luck.
Diagnosis not known - indeed they dont really know until its ok.
My pain is not really a back pain, its a throbbing in my right side in the
same area as show on the photograph.
Am waiting on having Isotope Bone Scan which may show up bone inflammation and identify facet joints possibly.
There is a lot of muscle spasm in the affected area. This could be getting
caused by inflammed facet joints. The injections may have got the wrong ones or may have missed the spot.
Have gone to another osteopath who is now massaging that sore are on my right side so we will see what happens, also he is getting me to stretch.
Exercise always make me worse - i tried abdominal strenghen exercises etc
And swimming is no good either.
Walking is best.....
So if you have any ideas or know a brilliant back specialist please let me
know!
Have been thinking of going somewhere overseas eg India where tests are quick and cheap..
