| Upper Back Stiffness - Help
I have been having this problem off and on for a while now. Sometimes my upper back between the shoulder blades around my spine gets so stiff that is drives my crazy. There is a dull pain..nothing that has sent me rushing to the ER. I haven't had any back x-rays as of yet, but I have gone to the Chiro and had a back massage and my back adjusted which loosen up the stiffness quite a bit. This problem started not long after I had my daughter. I first thought it was a digestive problem because I would have really bad pain in my upper back during the night that woke me up. It felt like I had swallowed a pill that got stuck in my chest but the pain would be in my back instead. Only after taking 3 tums and drinking lots of water and sitting up for 30 minutes would stop the pain. So I figured acid reflux, but after seeing the Gastroenterologist she thought maybe gall stones, but everything came back normal. So after changing my eating habits, I dont' experience that intense pain anymore, but I now have this stiffness. Does anyone have any idea what this could be?????
