Re: Yvette's Surgery Is Tomorrow

You need a kleenex?? Now don't you feel loved??

I haven't shared this with you because I held it back to share with you right before surgery. Going into this surgery, my hubby knew that I would be nervous so he brought into the surgical holding room our wedding album along with a diamond locket with the children's picture it. When I flipped the locket over it said, always and forever. It was so sweet of him and looking thru that album with our pastor was very touching and reminded me why I needed to go thru with this fusion -- not only for me but my family.

The anthesilogist was so touched that he let me wear it until I fell asleep then he gave it to my hubby.

Take care girlie. Love ya and know that my thoughts will be with you tomorrow all day.

Re: Yvette's Surgery Is Tomorrow

I believe Yvettes surgery is Friday the 9th. Applaude to Shawley for remembering the mind is the last to go.

Yvette I know I have told you over and over that I will be with you in my thoughts and hope you have an easy time. Did the Dr. say how long your surgery would be.

Good luck and keep us posted.

Re: Yvette's Surgery Is Tomorrow

Aw gosh guys your making me cry. Thank you so much for your prayers and good wishes, I wouldn't know what to do without you.

My surgery is friday...at 10am I have to be there at 8...and they said it takes 31/2 hours.

Thanks again buddys

I had a couple of minutes crying spell tonight when my husband started talking about having to leave the hospital friday afternoon to pick up a check. He quickly changed that, as I thought this is when I'd need him the most.

We discussed it and I think if i need help for a few days after coming home I will take turns letting the kids stay home, as they know the house the best, can deal with the pack of dogs etc. - And I thought it would be most conveneint for everyone and the hubby can still work. That way I dont need my mom to come sit all day etc. - I just came home and asked the kids their feelings and they were very happy to miss a day or two of school. Ofcourse my son can pick up homework etc.

So I feel that situation is better under control.

I love you guys!!! you don't realize the comfort you've brought to me thank you. vette.....not long now!!!!
