| Re: MedX lumbar extension machine
I have used the same type of machine, yes. But I went hoping to restore the health of a bulging disc. That didnt happen. No change at all after several months on that machine.
But I will say, that my back got an excellent workout. And it made me very very sore for at least the first 10 sessions. Then it got easier. But it flared me up so badly I even had to stop the sessions and get some steroid injections to control the inflammation before I could continue.
Before going forward with this, I would suggest getting another opinion from another spine specialist that is not connected with that group. Ask for your MRI films and report and take them with you to a new doc.
Then if you get the same speech.. then maybe it's something to consider trying if you can afford the expense.
I paid over $4K for mine and while my back felt better, it didnt change anything in the spine and eventually things were as bad, even worse before I started there.
I wouldnt do it again personally. For me it was a waste of money for the little ray of hope it brought then rained. lol.
