Now that I'm more confident about going forward with my L5-S1 laminectomy with a anterior /posterior fusion. This acceptence happen after I had resided myself to the fact that not doing it, is worst then doing it. My date with the surgeon is next wed.
My wife and I were talking about "doing it" post -op . I told her I had no idea how long it would take before I was able to "do it again".I said maybe months, she said "wow".
So I decided to ask you. How long before you can "do it again" ?
We can talk about almost anything! My surgeon said 3-4 months, but to be careful. Now I had a 3 level fusion. It was 4 months and I easily could have waited (for myself) another 3 years? OK so that's an exaggeration-some-. You will need to be very careful. I would also be careful with having your wife on top also. She would need to be careful about sitting down on top of you and doing some damage.
I know it's tough for you guys.... just teasing you. The watch word is to be CAREFUL. for two reasons. 1-you don't want to do any damage to what the surgeon has done. 2-you don't want to have to go in and tell him why you have this problem!
I'm sure pepper will find the thread for you. But I think it was started by a gal...and it's different for you guys. Maybe Shawley will weigh in..[/COLOR]
