I woke up with a horrible pain in my back and leg. My foot has also been numb all day. Tomorrow is six months post op. I guess the Neurontin was helping that pain although it was causing swelling and other pain. I'm taking Amitriptyline but it is not doing the job. I'll see what the dr. says. I just thought the pain would be gone by now. I don't regret the surgery either. Had to be done. I can't imagine how much worse it would be without surgery.
Hessie - I am so sorry. I have been having a terrible couple of days as well. It is so frustrating, isn't it? My pain is nothing compared to yours.....you have had it for so long. Has the swelling gone down completely?
Thanks. It is very frustrating. I'm just so sick of being in pain everyday. I've had chronic pain for years for one thing or another. I just thought it would get better everyday and not worse. I'm just whining.........

Hi Hessie - Sorry your feeling so badly. I know you where feeling bad last week. Hopefully when you see the doctor you both can get to the bottom of this. You can whine all you want too Hessie! Hope you find some relief soon. Take care.
