Hey,
Today I went and did my pre-admittance for my surgery . It was almost like the nail that sealed the deal. I'm really going to have surgery !Whew
Today was the best day I have had in 2 months. No back pain, sun was shining, slight breeze aaahhhhhh.
In the back of my head I heard "do I need surgery ? " the voice asked. It was a sweet intoxicating voice, it whispered the way you always wanted someone to whisper to you.
At that moment when my brain was embraced in an exhale ahhhaahhhhh I took a step, it felt like my leg had been hit with a thousand hot darts. Like all my wiring decide to say "hi" at the same time.
That step reminded me of why in two days I'm going to to have surgery.
So that I can enjoy the sunshine and slight breeze to it's fullest.
Still looking for courage !!!
You guys are great who else could I say this stuff too. hahahahaha
I agree it is a month to the day since I had my back surgery. It was a great day for me when it was time to see the doc for the last time, all of the pre surgery physical out of the way, the fitting of the brace and all of the last minute things that needed to be done.
I wish you the best of luck, when you wake up it will be gee my legs and back feel great, now I just need to get over the hospital stuff from the surgery and rest rest rest....

I feel so good today,very little pain if any. It's like a body game.
I just keep thinking if I could just get pass this stinging leg pain and numbness. I'd be okay ! I wouldn't need the surgery.
Tomorrow is my day but today is my wife's birthday ! So I'm going to make the painful effort of trying to go out with her. All the pressure is about to fall on her shoulders. The bills, work,nine year old boy, fish tank,cat, and a husband who will make it that much harder. So I'm going to make the effort for her even if it hurts like hell later, I'm going to make it special for her.
Awwww! You are so sweet! Happy Birthday to your dear wife! Try to enjoy today, without over doing too much. Good luck tomorrow. What time are you slated for surgery? Will say a few prayers for you!

Here is wishing you the best. You are a sweetie for thinking of the wife the way you do. I am sure she appreciates it tremendously. Us ladies are usually stronger than we appear when we are needed, she will do just fine taking care of everything while you recover. Well I got six hours to go and I'm scare as hell. I'm walking around trying to get use to wearing my brace. My hospital bed is in my bedroom but I still have a few things to get before i'm off to see the wizard .
I'm still searching for straws ,I think it's only natural to try and avoid pain and risk.I just kissed my son off to school that...
I want to thank everyone for the support, the prayers and the luv you have shown me.
