Question I twisted my back now have burning and numbness in inner thigh

This started two months ago. I originally had pain on my outer thigh, which has mostly cleared up, but the burning continues to be there intermittantly and flares up sometimes more than others. I have been told it is probably damaged nerves. I would like to know what would help me to recover fully. Can you help me?
