I have same problem, but I have had three lumbar surgeries, and after 10 years, and two cervical surgeries also, I begin having coccyx (tailbone) pain. Have had so many MRI's/Cat scans and most recently a spinal tap and myle-something. All the doc can say, is nerve damage. Don't make sense to me. Would say more, but have to wait til I'm able too.
Were you told what level the DDD was occuring? Like for instance L5s1, L4/5, etc.... .
Did you ever fall on tailbone? I was told that I might have injured it a long time ago, but only now feeling the pain now.
Lets hope other folks respond, because your question, mine also, is only one of the many reasons I have returned after a long while away from here dealing with the pain that rises and falls from head to thighs to ankles to bottoms of feet that walk on pins and needles wonderin' if the blood is flowin' right in my body, or is it in riot too.
