[COLOR="Navy"]It often takes six months to see fusion...and you need to realise that this was major surgery. It can take up to a full year to feel "normal" again. But you have to realise that your new normal won't be the same as your old normal.
When you have surgery like this, nerves are moved around, and they don't like that at all. It takes time for the nerves to settle down and for the pain to settle down. This will come when the swelling inside goes down also. But it takes time for that to happen. The fact that you are back at work will also slow down your recovery time. But your doctor was right, it takes time and that is what you need to have time and patience. The pain down your butt and legs is normal and will disappate as everything heals...
