Unsure of MRI results!!!

Hi there! Had a bout of awful L leg & foot pain 12 weeks ago, which was crippling for 5-6 days and eased to a point after 2-3 weeks & became intermittent. Had Physio & now am about to start traction because I have lost a little strength in my L foot & leg, and have some numbing of L lower leg and under my foot. MRI as follows;

L3/L4 mild diffuse disc bulge mild facet hypertrohpy

L4/L5 small R foraminal annular fissure

L5/S1 Mild diffuse disc bulge, asymmetric to L with superimposed small L foraminal protrusion, mildly compressing L L5 nerve root.

Spondylosis generally...

Does this mean I have 2 disc bulges/ (was told I had one), and arthritis of my spine? Is Laminectomy a good option or just continuing Physio? Used to run a lot inc marathons...is that the end of that???

Appreciate all answers........
