Hi all!! I just wanted to share with you that I finally got my family dr to listen to me about my meds. I've been telling for about a yr now that tylenol 4's and codiene contin wasn't working. He kept increasing the codiene contin to no avail. For the first time he's agreed to give me something stronger. Today he gave me oxycodone. I haven't tried it yet but I sure hope it works. I'm tired of just existing, especially after 4yrs of nothing helping.

Congratulations. Hopefully now you'll be able to get some better pain relief. It helps loads when the painkillers do their job.

Hi all, thanks for your support! I'm sorry to report that this hasn't given me any relief. I haven't given up yet, even though the pharmacist told me I should be able to tell after 4hrs. I started this lastnight and haven't noticed a change. I'll give it more time of course. My doctor gave me oxy demi which is half the strength so I'm not giving up. Somehow someway I'll get relief! Take care!!
