Hello to you all. It's been a while since my last post, but I need some help. My problem is that I have been in tremendous pain for the last 2 yrs. I had my 1st 360 back fusion l4-s1(ALIF) in 2005 due to a car accident that was head on in 2001. Did pretty good with this, only had to get injections bout 2 time a yr for SI pain. Then at the end of 2008 beginning of 2009, the pain became unbearable and I had to stop working in May 09. I was a teacher's asst. I went back to my surgeon and he thought that my hardware needed to be removed since most of my lower back pain was at the site of my incision for the hardware. Had that surgery in Aug 09. Needless to say it did not help, I am in pain everyday. And since I'm not working I have NO insurance! So I go to a free clinic in my area, but their resources are limited as to what they can do for me. Flexeril is not working!! So is it possible that I have another disc that has herniated? It hurts when I walk, stand, twist, reach ova my head, etc:
. Basically I can't move and not be in pain!! In the process of waiting to see if my disability will be aproved. Was denied 3 times and had a hearing in front of the judge. I think things went really well and i'll find out later this month. I had an epiderual back in Jan. and I was in more pain after it than before. Can someone please please please please give me some advise.
I have been battling health issues ALL my life and I just want some pain-free days.

Leaky heart valve
2 back surgeries later and still in great pain!
