Seven years ago I had c3-c7 fused. I was not experiencing paing before the surgery and was not prepared for the intense pain afterwards. It took three pain clinics before I finally got some relief. I now have degeneration at the c-8 level and am having symptoms similiar to the ones before the surgery. So far only involuntary jerking movements and fingers trying to bend backwards. Has anyone had multiple fusions and did the second one help? I do have permanent nerve damage and would like to avoid any further damage, but I am also afraid of the intense pain returning.
