PLIF tomorrow morning 630 am

Well this is the last night, I am scared to death but also very anxious to have this done. Sitting here watching a Stevie Nicks concert waiting to go to bed and get up at 3 tomorrow. Ate a light meal and am drinking a lot of water, hopefully I wont be so dry in the morning. I will try to post here after the surgery, although my guess is not for a couple days. All of you going through the pain I hope you find an answer, and I pray that I have found mine. Best to all of you.

Re: PLIF tomorrow morning 630 am

Good luck to you and blessings on your surgical team.

Remember that the first several days are the worst, and you will probably think "what have I done??" But it does get better.

And, when you're on the other side, we'll be here to try to answer any questions that may come up.

Re: PLIF tomorrow morning 630 am

Hope things are going well for you (and that you are resting and not trying to read this when I'm writing it less than 12h after your op).

Take it easy and TAKE HELP when it is offered over the coming weeks.

And remember the first week or two is ROUGH but it DOES get better. Yes, it is a long recovery overall, but I swore the first days I'd never move to a seated position w/o tears and that DID fade realtively soon.
