Feel an internal lump
lately been feeling an internal lump I think at the bottom right hand side of my back. I need to sit down and press hard to feel it. Sometimes I try hard to find it and after I get half day of pain with all the pressing.

I have asked my doctor and he said it might be a fatty lump which is not a problem but how can he know if no X-Ray was taken ?

should I be worried about this ?

He's probably basing his diagnosis on your age, overall health, the feeling of the lump, etc. If it's painful, changing, or particularly worrying, you can ask him for additional testing, such as an ultrasound, to confirm that it is a harmless lipoma.

I had a doctor say that to me once ,so I asked for an xray , and it turned out it was a benign cyst which eventually went away, but at least I felt better knowing
