Unhappy Back Surgeries
I am so disgusted. After having two back surgeries, an XLIF (L4-L5) in July 2011 and another one in January of 2012 for siactic pain down my left leg where they scraped the disc at location (L5-S1). I am in more pain now than before. I keep calling the doctor's office but I have not gotten a call back. I can't stant, sit or do anything for too long. I don't know what to do!!!!! Any suggestions!!!! HELPPPPPPPPPPP

I don't know if this would help you or not, I haven't had back surgery(yet) but I find to relieve the pain in my Lumbar is a rice bag and hot packs. Then after 15 minutes on the heat I stretch and stretch and stretch. It relieves it temporally but when you get to the point of tears, easing it somewhat for a little bit of time helps.

Did they give you anything for the pain? I hope you feel better quick!

Where is the pain that you are having? Is it the same or different as before your surgery? What kind of pain is it?
