Looking for some advice new symptom on continued back pain.
Hello... I have had back pain for several years but new symptom has me baffled and right now I cant go to doctor due to waiting for insurance so I am looking for some advice and/or reassurance.
Here goes. I had a c6/c7 fusion two years ago and have had continued pain and the normal electrical shock up and down arms ever since and it comes and goes. About two weeks ago I drove about 30 miles while completly stressed and tense and ever since that day the palm of my hands are numb it feels as if I am wearing gloves all the time and if tapping my fingers I get a very strong electrical shock up my hand, arm, and into my shoulder. This doesnt seem to fit a text book symptom and was wonering if anyone has had this before. It doesn't come and go it is constant and annoying. My hands are weak and clumbsy, I am always dropping things and unable to hold a pen.
Also, my feet were doing the same thing but it comes and goes on and off again. The hands are concerning me because it hasn't changed for two weeks no let up in symptom and I am worried this is some type of perm damage or something else besides a back issue.
Any advise is welcome. Thanks.
