The cortisone injection is the same process as a facet block and is an ESI (epidural steroid injection)...so it sounds like you have been through this previously.
How did you reherniate the disc post surgery?

I believe my daughter jumped into my lap causing me to jerk my back.ofcourse. I've been so good at not picking her up and that happens! Wow this is not good news.thank you for your quick reply!
It concerns me when someone says the "doctor loves to do surgeries."
I don't know what your insurance coverage is or where you live. Do you have access to a major teaching hospital?
I always believe it's best to get a 2nd or 3rd opinion if warranted. It is also important to have confidence in the surgeon himself. Is the doctor conservative? What does he specialize in? Is he a specialist in spine related issues? To me surgery should only be done after all other options have been considered. Spine surgery is extremely complex and delicate.
Please look into other doctors for other opinions. I always go for other opinions & I learned that the hard way. Even if I am seeing a doctor that is considered "top notch" I will get other opinions. It's better to be safe then sorry............
