I was in a car accident and broke my T12,L3 and L4. It happened over a month ago. I was put in a clamshell back brace and was told to wear it for 2 - 3 months. I follow all my doctors orders and am fully out of pain. I have a wedding that I am going to in a week and I am a bridesmaid. I really wanted to wear the dress but now I do not know if I can because of my brace. It is really important to me and I was wondering if I could take off my back brace for about two hours max then put it right back on for the rest of the night. On the daye of the wedding, i would have been wearing the brace for one month and 2 weeks. I would be extremely careful to make sure nothing goes wrong and to make sure I dont do anything that could harm me. I would be sitting for most of the time but just really wanted to know if I could pull off taking the brace off for 2 hours if I really really wanted too? I am not going to the doctor for another 2 weeks so please help!! Thx.
