Hello all, I have been having weird buzzing like sensations without pain along my lower spine. It's really weird. It comes and goes. There is never any pain, just like an internal buzzing. My back does feel tight. Do you think you may know anything about this. I would appreciate any responses. Thank you!

It sounds like something may be going on with one of the nerves in the spine. I couldn't guess what might be causing it, but nerve "pain" often feels like an electrical sensation, like a buzzing is a word often used to describe the sensation. Usually it develops into something a bit more specific, or it eventually goes away...it may be that you somehow irritated the tissue around it; perhaps there is some swelling and it is putting a bit of pressure on the nerve. You may have twisted it in an unusual way, slept "wrong," etc.

Hope it goes away soon. In any case, I wouldn't worry about it.

I'm pretty sure I've had that happen to me before. It kind of feels like a slight vibration under the skin. A mix between tingling and twitching. A very weird feeling but it doesn't hurt. I told my Dr. about it and she said it could be painless muscle spasms. Or just muscle twitches. So I don't know. But you're not the only one. Muscle relaxers tend to help me when it starts happening.
