Do epidural injection for cyst L4/5 work?
 

Hi,

I have been experiencing severe pain from my left hip to foot. My recent MRI showed a 12mm cyst at the L4/5 area. My Dr said because of my transitional vertebrae my spine does not function correctly and given that i am 46 and arthritis has started in the facet joint I have developed a cyst.

I am going for an injection on Thursday.

Can anyone please tell me about their experience?

The steroid injection is the first step in most treatments for spine problems. I don't know anyone who had one specifically for a cyst...maybe you'll get lucky and it will help.
