| microdiscectomy
Hi all I'm new to this board and had a question. anyone had a micrdiscectomy? I have a consultation for one soon. low back pain for 10 years. im 34 and sick of it. ive had 9 epidurals and 3 or 4 facet injections. nothng worked. ive been in and out of PT with moderate relief. i turned down a discrogram cause of all the bad things ive heard. im scared of getting the micro and still having back pain. im also scared of not being able to do my physical labor job which is all ive ever done. l4-l5 and l5-s1 herniation and pinched sciatic nerve. i also have moderate protrusions from the herniations. ive already been out of work 10 weeks
