Nice to hear from you...can't tell if you are discouraged with your progress?
I have no experience with and don't even know anyone who had an artificial disc so I 'm afraid I can't do much more than say hello and that I am glad you are posting with your experiences....

Hi mikelite, So glad to hear from you! I didnt have artificial disc surgery but 4 lumbar laminectomies & i remember feeling like you describe, i think. I had a weakness in my back & when i stood, sat or walked for longer than 15 or 20 minutes i would get intense muscle spasms & a deep ache like i had pulled weeds all day. I cannot describe how gradually i had to progress in activity before i actually made progress. I would continually overdo & have to start over again & again. Gradually i got stronger, better. It took a year at very minimum. I hope this helps you, slow but steady won the race for me!
