Fusion advice

I had a lumbar fusion with instrumentation in 2010 at L4/5. I am also sacralised.

I am due back at the hospital for a follow up in March. Recently I have begun to feel numbness in my second toe in my left foot. Is this something that I should mention?

Re: Fusion advice

Definitely. That toe is innervated by the L5 nerve. Has this recently started to become numb?

Yes, I started think I was getting my socks caught because my toes felt strange. I never thought much of it at first. But I then realised that the toe was short of feeling. It now goes numb, some days its is numb all the time while on others just for a few hours.
