Post PLIF Pain Meds Question
I am about 7 weeks post of from a PLIF L5-S1. I am curious on the experience of others when it comes to pain meds (i.e. narcotics). How long did you find it necessary to continue using narcotic meds after surgery?

I imagine you will get as many different answers to this as people who respond. It varies SOOOO much.

I had a one level PLIF and was on pain meds for about the first 8-9 weeks. A couple years later, I had a 3 level revision and I was off all meds on the 10th day. I have friends who are still on pain meds a year post surgery....
