Question Ribcage pain caused by slipping ribs

I couldn't find a specific board for this or anything close, except back pain (which the slipping rib causes as well). Do any of you suffer from this?

Since I was 17 (now 24), I've fought a slipping rib and more recently in the past few years, two ribs that slip out on my right side. Its easily fixed with a few visits to the chiropractor, but that can get expensive and its just a BIG inconvenience at work since I move around a lot and lift stuff.

I've been told that building up the muscle around the torso area will help the ribs from slipping out and I really don't know if that is true or not. Have any of you had luck with preventing it from happening?

Its tough finding answers for this so hopefully someone out there has had first hand experience with it! I've done all of the googling possible to try to figure this out and there just aren't many answers out there for this situation!
