im looking for a drug store shampoo that wont cause my scalp to dry out, i hear pantene is good, does anyone use it? i know herbal essence and fructise isnt good, what other ones are good ??

I don't use the Pantene Shampoo, but I do use the conditioner daily. I live in somewhat of a a very humid apartment, and I find the Aussie Shampoos work beautifully in dry or humid condtions. It's the only one that does not leave a lot of residue on my hair. Good luck!

Tresemme is great. So is Renewal 5x. I use the former's shampoo and the latter's conditioner. A great combination. Both are inexpensive.

Pantene ruined my hair... caused it to be all frizzy and gross, so I started using Dove shampoo, and it was fine but it didn't do anything great so now I'm using just Head and Shoulders. I've actually never had drandruff, and don't have it currently, but it's just a simple shampoo that doesn't leave behind residue and also it's great for your skin. Good stuff!

I use pentene and love it. My hair comes out sleeker, shinier and cleaner looking. You should definitely use a conditioner on your hair and put it on your scalp if it's dry.
