| Re: Clogged Pores
Sounds like you need to get some type of exfoliator to help clean out the pores. For whiteheads/blackheads, use a BHA product (Paula's Choice makes a good one). You can also use a washcloth to manually remove them - say, after a shower - but be careful not to tear the skin. You can also use AHA peels.
If your cleanser is the Equate equivalent of Cetaphil, there's nothing wrong with it - except that if you have oily skin, you may need to get the one for oily skin (Cetaphil makes one, I don't know if Equate does or not).
Something is clogging your pores - perhaps your makeup? You may need to make some adjustments to keep it from happening again, but using a BHA toner will help.
Also, jojoba oil is wonderful for your skin. It balances oil production and won't clog pores - plus it makes your skin really soft. It will also help clear out pores.
Remember - it takes a few weeks for hidden impurities to come to the surface, so you may continue to have whiteheads ot pimples appear even after you start a new regimen.
