do you guys clean your ears at night after taking out your earings? i just took my studs out after 3 days and it was crusty and kindy pussey (sorry to gross u out). how can i clean it? when ear piercing antiseptic or rubbing alcohol???

I would wash them with soap & water, then swab them with hydrogen peroxide. Rubbing alcohol is very irritating to the skin & shouldn't be used on an "open wound".

I only clean mine when I shower, not when I take my earrings out. But mine have been healed for many years, so I don't have any drainage.

Try soaking your earings in hydrogen peroxide before placing in ear holes. this will keep the inside of the holes clean.

Hydrogen peroxide is the best stuff for cleaning piercings. My navel wouldn't heal completely for so long, and I used hydrogen peroxide on it and it healed right up.

when i got my cartilage pierced, the guy told me to clean it a couple times a day w/ soap and warm water, then to apply bactine [u know the stuff u spray on boo-boos that stings]. if it's a relatively new piercing, crustiness is pretty normal.
