What is a good hair dye that will completely cover gray? I've been using Nice n Easy which I like alot but a week after I dye my hair the gray pops out all over again. I would at least like to have the color last for a month but that damn gray keeps popping up. Is there another brand that will last longer??

Go to Sally's and get Clairol Grey Busters. It is with the regular Clariol colors. My MIL is completely grey and this has covered her much better than the other regular ones.

Try Nutrisse by Garnier (permanent color). It seems to last longer & cover grey much better than some of the others.

I've been using the Nutrisse by Garnier for over a year, but I am finding that the colour fades within 2-3 weeks on my grey hairs.

I use the darkest red brown colour and went to my hairdressers yesterday and he said that reds always fade quickest and better go with dark browns. He also said that L'Oreal elvive shampoo/conditioner for coloured hair was good to keep the colour for longer.

Hi..

I have color resistant white hair. I have tried many different "permanent" dyes, that covered my white hairs for all of a week, and then washed right out of the whites..

The product that I found that would last the longest on my whites is Herbal Essences. I have dark brown hair, and found that the reds or plums (I used Ruby Red and then tried Plush Plum) colored my whites very well.. The whites were still "tinged" with color after a month.

I found tho, that not all of the Herbal Essences dyes worked as well. The red/purples colored my whites and stayed.. I tried the brown family, to get back to my real haircolor, and the brown washed out after a week..
